About Nesters
For breeders of every size - from the retired fancier with three champions to the federation with 7,500 birds across forty lofts. We're the team behind it, and these are the people we built it for.
Why we built it
For decades, the rhythm of a racing season has been kept by ring books, paper pedigrees, photocopied result sheets and the patience of a fancier with a spreadsheet. Pigeon doesn't replace that knowledge - it just gives it somewhere calmer to live.
One place for race entries, live arrivals, pedigree research, breeding pairs, training tosses and bird health. On your phone in the loft, on the tablet at the clubhouse, on the big screen during race day. Designed around the season, not around features.
We're a small team. Half of us are third-generation fanciers, the other half are software people who became fanciers along the way. We answer every email. We never charge per bird. We will not lock your pedigrees behind a paywall.
If you race, breed, or simply keep birds for the love of them - Pigeon was built for you. Come fly with us.
Who it's for
What we believe
Export everything - pedigrees, results, notes, photos - as CSV, XLSX or printable PDF, anytime. No lock-in.
Pay for your plan, not for each bird in your loft. Free forever for under 75 birds, and we don't take a cut of bird sales or transfers between lofts.
Every support email is read by a human who races pigeons. No chatbot, no help desk shuffle. You'll get a reply, usually before the next basket.
Modern loft management
Nesters respects the craft your grandfather taught you, and the phone your grandson lives on.
Behind the loft
Half fanciers, half software people, all believers that a good Sunday belongs in the loft, not in a spreadsheet.
Founder - Antwerp
Third-generation fancier, 184 birds, four national wins. Built Pigeon because his spreadsheet kept crashing on race day.
Product - Rotterdam
Breeder, designer, and the patient one who tests every feature with her grandfather first.
Engineering - Milan
Backend, infrastructure, and our resident champion of the Federazione Lombarda.
Support - Ghent
71 years old, racing since he was nine, and the human behind every support email you send.
Eight years in the loft
Jos starts building Pigeon for his own Antwerp loft after his Excel file crashes mid-race for the third Sunday in a row. First version tracks 84 birds.
Word spreads through the Antwerp federation. Pigeon adds pedigree, breeding planner and the first ETS clock integration.
Marco joins from Milan to lead engineering. Teams plan launches with the Federazione Lombarda as our first federation customer.
SOC 2 Type II certified. Big Loft plan ships for championship operations running thousands of birds. Native sync hits 14 federations.
1,247 breeders across 18 countries. 3.2M race results clocked through Pigeon last season. Still answering every email ourselves.
